Started by Rick Wilcox and Nick Yardley in 1993, the Mt. Washington Valley Ice Fest has been the premier ice climbing event in the northeast ever since. Good Friday, the day an innocent man gave his life, for those that believe in him would have eternal life. What does eternal life mean? This world we are living in is temporary, as the saying goes when someone dies, it is said, "they passed away", passed away to where? It is either some place better or some place worse? What about the physical body? The physical body stops working due to sickness or wears out, the heart has only so many heart beats, the energy that makes our heart beat, where did that come from and where does it go when our physical bodies die? The energy that gives us life is our Spirit life force, where does this life force/Spirit go when our physical body dies? it goes either to someplace better or some place worse- positive or negative, right or wrong, good or evil, there can not be one without the other, Heaven or hell. Want to go to Heaven? What determines your qualification for being able to enter Heaven upon your death? Being a good person? Who determines your goodness? YOU? If�� a person could enter Heaven based upon doing good, who or what determines the amount of good needed to enter Heaven? Does a little good get you into Heaven? The phrase�� "there is no free ride" certainly applies to entering into Heaven. The white lie, the bad thoughts, pride, greed, the seven deadly sins which we all take part in, are the sins that keep us from passing to Heaven, why? The seven deadly sins we commit while in our physical bodies has to be addressed, we will all be accountable for our actions, it is part of the right and wrong, good and evil, up and down, negative and positive, it's how the universe works, Jesus said, the blood that I shed�� will pay for the sins that YOU committed-those white lies, the greed we felt, jealousy, pride, etc. all you have to do is accept me as your "personal savior", that's it!�� Faith in-believing in what you have not seen-that is faith, having faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus and accepting Jesus the Christ as your personal savior is your only means of entering into heaven, believing, having the faith that Jesus Christ died for YOUR sins, is al that is required,��why would an innocent man suffer the intentional torture followed by a horrible death, what would be the point?��What do you have to loose by accepting Jesus as your personal savior? If he isn't the savior then you lost nothing, but if don't accept him as your personal savior and He actually is? WOW, won't that be a sorry day, it cost nothing to accept Jesus as your savior,�� do it today, just say "Jesus, I accept you as my personal savior, that your death on the cross Paid in Full all my sins"��

Yet, if God is so good and all-powerful, why doesn't he just wipe out evil things in this world? The question often arises after any tragedy, but especially when it affects people who you would think should be immune to such things.

In addressing this question, it is important to remember that God originally created the world perfect.

But he also gave man the freedom to obey or disobey. When Adam sinned, death and suffering become an inevitable part of life.

The Answer is Jesus Christ, for he may not calm the storms in our lives, but he will calm your heart during the storm. If you are now experiencing the storms of life, I pray that you seek Jesus Christ, seek and you will find, knock and the door will open.��

This Arkansas wet stone is truly an Arkansas stone, from the quarries located in Hot Spring County, Arkansas, and is 100 percent novaculite. Novaculite is a rock that has been used for thousands of years by��indigenous people��to sharpen tools, novaculite is a unique rock found in the Oucahita Mountains of Arkansas. The J-316 Arkansas wet stone comes with a leather carry case, dimensions of the stone are 3-inches x 1-inch x 1/4-inch with a grit of 240, this J-316 Arkansas Wet Stone is a "Soft Arkansas Wet Stone" ,perfect for sharpening any knife blade.

How to deal with screws that back-out of your knife

What to do should the screws holding your knife together, start to back-out causing your knife to malfunction.��

For the most part, today's knives are assembled using torque screws rather than using tubular rivets or solid nickel pins, this came about due to custom knife makers needing a way to assemble their knives the easiest way possible without having to purchase riveting machines or manually tapping a solid pin into a very small diameter hole that they would have to drill out, so they started using torque screws, these are readily available from any industrial supply retailer making the building of a custom knife a bit easier.��

Nowadays , it's rare to find a pocket knife that is riveted, it's "old school" and that's fine, the market place has come to accept a knife that is held together by screws rather than rivets, but the screws do have one down side, just from ordinary use they tend to back out of their threaded axle, and this is especially true with a blade under load such as a switchblade. So, what to do? Once you notice the screw is coming loose, tighten it down to prevent losing it, if lost, finding the exact size and thread will be a real pain, doable, but time consuming. Next get some Superglue, this is readily available at any office supply store, Wal-Mart, pharmacy, dollar store, etc., you could use Locktite , but it's not as readily available as Superglue and Superglue works so much better, the only draw back, you may not be able to remove the screw again, but why would you want to?��

Now, pay close attention, because Superglue works so well, only use a little, how much is a little? I mean just enough to cover a couple of threads of the screw, I know, doesn't seem enough, but that's all you'll need. Special Note, the key here is to open and close your blade as the Superglue dries, don't replace the screw�� and walk away leaving the Superglue to dry, you may not be able to get the blade open, ever!�� After replacing the screw with a the Superglue on only a couple of threads, open and close your knife, adjusting the tension on the screws to make sure the blade opens easily, you'll only need to do this for about 3 to 5 minutes, but well worth the time since you won't need to worry about the screw ever backing out again.

�� Nearly 18 years after Schrade Knives went out of business, we still receive calls from Schrade Knife owners asking how and where to send their Schrade knives for repair. Colonial Knife® does not work on Schrade knives and never have, we do honor and repair our own brand of Colonial Knives.��

�� At the time Schrade Knives closed their doors for good, their dealers, many of whom also carried the Colonial Knife® brand of knives, found themselves unable to assist their loyal customers as they returned their Schrade knife for the warranty-repair-replacement once offered by the Schrade Knife company and we at Colonial Knife® knowing many of these dealers-owners personally, thought we would help them out by supplying the Colonial Knife® brand of Old Cutler® knives in-place of the Schrade Old Timer and Uncle Henry brand since the Colonial Knife brand of Old Cutler�� is very similar in design and quality to Schrade Old Timer and Uncle Henry Brand.

�� The Schrade name and their brands along with inventory was sold at auction to Alvin Taylor of Taylor Made Brands, who also owned the licensing for Smith & Wesson Brand knives, found himself being overwhelmed with�� the defective Schrade knives being returned for warranty and hearing that we at Colonial Knife® brand had been working with the knife dealers that also carried the Schrade brand, decided to post online that "Colonial will repair and honor the Schrade warranty", not exactly true, we contacted Alvin Taylor and he agreed to remove the post from the internet but never actually did and so it remains out there in the world wide web for all Schrade owners to read.

�� Colonial Knife® does not honor the warranty of other knife companies, we do have an Authorized Repair Center- Bill Deshives Cutlery that will repair all brands especially vintage Colonial Knife® Brand switchblades.��
